I saw jets of light shining from cities and villages, and from the high places and the low places of the earth. God's word was obeyed, and as a result there were memorials for Him in every city and village. His truth was proclaimed throughout the world. --Testimonies, vol. 9, pp. 28, 29. {ChS 112.2}

Tonight I took a walk along Marine Drive as the sun went down. This is truly one of the most serene and beautiful places to live on the whole planet, and I thank God! We know, however, that life is not always a smooth sailing affair, that there will be lumps in the gravy, so to speak, even in the most delightful of settings... it happened in the Garden of Eden, and it happens here: sin. But Sabbath can be a time to step back from the ugly hustle and bustle and commercial hurly-burly. I am thankful for the blessings of Sabbath and I know that there are many, many people in our community who would also "delight in the Sabbath" if they were to learn about its beauty. Let's get the word out!
