I saw jets of light shining from cities and villages, and from the high places and the low places of the earth. God's word was obeyed, and as a result there were memorials for Him in every city and village. His truth was proclaimed throughout the world. --Testimonies, vol. 9, pp. 28, 29. {ChS 112.2}

Co-laboring with God

"He who plants and he who waters are equal, and each shall receive his wages according to his labor. For we are fellow workers for God; you are God's field, God's building." 1 Corinthians 3:8,9 RSV

Wow, this is pretty heady stuff, eh? Each one of us has been called to work in God's field... we might have different work to do based upon our spiritual gifts and God-given talents, but we certainly have a calling.

And God is an equal opportunity employer-- we are equals with our other workmates.
That means that although we might only have a high school diploma and our workmate has a Ph.D., we have equal worth in the eyes of God when we each take up our tools and get busy at winning souls for Him.

Here are some of the jobs that will certainly be part of our upcoming evangelistic thrust. After praying about it, which jobs have you been outfitted for? Which roles do you have a passion for?

Admin Angels (helping with all the paperwork and organizational tasks)
Children's Ministries (serving the little people as teacher/assistant; etc.)
Expressive Arts (writing, performing, puppetry, flower-arrangement, etc.)
Heavenly Helpmates (doing essential 'behind-the-scenes' jobs)
Hospitality Graces (inviting people to come; greeting; hosting fellowship)
Loving LifeGuard(bonding with (an) attendee(s) along their spiritual walk)
Music Ministries (singing, accompaniment/playing an instrument, composing)
Prayer Warrior (praying through every step of the various programs)
Technical Operations (working the sound system; the satellite hook-up; etc.)
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
You can probably think of other equally important roles that you have been gifted with that will be useful during the outreaches to come. Please step forward or plan to graciously accept requests for your involvement in the upcoming exciting activities!
